I figured it would be best to post in here rather than the 30mm thread.

Gentlemen, you can't just go all the way to the finals and then not have a match.  This must be fought.  I don't want to get into this, that, or any kind of argument.  I just want to see this happen.

Because of the lack of time and budding animosity, I suggest you both agree on a time slot for two weeks from now and make that your next interaction ;) .  If one or both of you is/are rusty, you have a few weeks to fit in some time to practice.  If one or both of you is/are a little aggravated, you have a little time to cool off.  You can both approach the match sharp and without distraction.

Many people have signed up for this, and dueling has gotten some "good" attention on the boards (finally!) If the two finalists don't wind up fighting, that will change.

This is a good community event.  Let's keep it that way.

YGBSM.  The reason for not having the final duel yet is petty squabbling?  Vudak's post seems to be alluding to some kind of personality conflict preventing the last two standing from agreeing on a time.

Get over yourselves.  It's a tournament.  63 people lose.  It's not the end of the world.

I am looking forward to the next round.  This tournament was well run from the start.  Let's not ruin it because of immaturity or petulance.  Let's get the next one rolling.

:salute BaldEagl.  BTW, is BE OK?  He has been absent for a while.

A post script:  If there is anyone in the Aces High world that you can't stand enough to prevent you from one hour of dueling, then, do us all a favor, skip the next tournament.

The round has been postponed due to time constraints.  Given the nature of text, that can lead to squabbling.

I did not think very clearly before I posted, and I'll take the blame for that.  In retrospect, it was probably one of my dumbest moments on this board.  I apologize.

Nonetheless, figure out a way to have a match.
