Post the films as long as TC doesn't mind and I'm guessing by the PM he sent that he won't.

I've been considering adding a requirement for the next event that films have to be posted from the quarter-finals on for the enjoyment of those of us in the peanut gallery although I'm not sure if that would dissuade someone from signing up if they were to get whooped in the final rounds.

We are getting very close to the end.  Congratulations to sunsfan, moot and TonyJoey on making the semi-finals.

As you may have noticed in previous posts Jerkins and batfink didn't get their duel in and now Jerkins is away until Friday.  When I got wind of this I PM'd Jerkins, batfink and TonyJoey.  I'd hate to have this duel not happen at this late stage of the tournament.  Thanks to TonyJoey's graciousness, Jerkins and batfink will complete their quarter-final duel on Saturday and TonyJoey will take on the winner either immediately afterward or on Sunday.  So that I'm not the one holding up the semi-final I have already assigned the aircraft for that round.

Here's the updated bracket:

I am in agrement with BadEagl, about at least beginning with the quarter finals, to have the films posted for others to witness osme good fights.....

I, myself, was not up to the last 2 matches ( rd 3 & the quarter final round with moot )....although I mustered up my best ability, moot was in the same situation with the quarter final rd as well he told me.......but in my view we both performed at best  prob 70 to 80 % of our BEST abilitys.... I, having dueled moot beginning at least somewhere around 2002? or 2003, know for a fact he was not flying to his best! IF so I would have never even got a gun solution on him in any fight....

I wish moot, the best of luck going forth and winning the entire thing, but as of lately sunsfan has been on a tear and sunsfan closest competition is TonyJoey ( my personal opinion and latest experience of sunsfan and tonyjoey in the koth tournaments )...... seeing as how I was in this duel, it was hard for me to post who would win this and in what order while I was a participant, it just didn't seem very polite or curtious to do so, until I finally got knocked out.....but I had it going in as

quarter finals: snaphook vs sunsfan / moot vs TC / mike254 vs TonyJoey / batfink vs Jerkins

semi finals: sunsfan vs moot / TonyJoey vs batfink

finals: sunsfan vs TonyJoey

Champion of BaldEagl's Inaugural 1vs1 Bracket Tournament: sunsfan

but I seriously hope moot pulls off the upset because he beat me out to advance forward, and one should always pull for the person that put them out of a tournament......just my view of these things......

I was expecting to see moot's films ( heck they was named different then how I sent them to him, rofl ) only to download them and view them, to see it was my films I emailed to moot to host for others to see. Alot of people had been asking to see some films, so I wanted to oblidge them and offer my films up to view...although I do not hardly ever post any films at all in the past 10yrs or so I have been a member of Aces high.......

hope my crappy flying was worth watching.....

congrats to all who participated in this tournament, and to the review commitee and especially to BaldEagl for thinking this wonderful event up and making it all happen........

I hope BaldEagl follows thru and continues to offer/host this event in the future...... and I hope we see more individuals join in on the fun.....

another wonderful by product of the game "Aces High"

Thank You for letting me be a part of it  :salute

I like the idea of historic match up duels that TC and Moot did.
