I was just informed by Betty that they removed his spleen last night and had an operation on his hand. I will let everyone know when I get info.

Forgot who said this while trying to take a base, but the quote goes like this. "I cant help you with ack, Im not in attack mode" This is with only 2 ack up in the town while troops were there, waiting. The rest of the town was down.

blue hit us up on our squad forum....here is what he said..

Hey gang, able to give yal an update.

on July 20th 1am I  was on the localo expressway comin home from our auto/bike garage on my bike (my friend was on his bike iin formation in front of me)

We are not sure exactly what happened (I dont remember soup) he said I was in formation in the middle of a right hand sweeper  when my light went from his right mirror to left the gone, he turned his head and seen my bike do 360 then start flippin.

in that corner road goes from real smooth to rutted in an instant at just the right spot so I think I skipped rear ire out a bit and when it caught it through me into a high side tank slapper throwing my body into the guardrail then into street.

between the cops, my buddy, and rother in law (he got there in 5min after i crashed) we estimate my body went 60ft after nose dive and bike went bout 85 to 95 (bike is a 1982 cb750c in line 4)

My buddy saved my life.  He pulled over ad ran to me, I was almost run over (within a foot) as he was runing he pulled me by my smoking leathers (yes smoking) to side of road and was near hit himself and fell over (very light traffic but very dark and late) a taxi had pulled over to block us and had called cops/paras  beforehe even finished blocking scene.

Chris (my buddy) was yelling at me to blink if I could hear him (I was out and he thoght I was dead) ididn't responnd so he thought for sure I was dead.  Finally he says he yelled right in my face  through blood and helmet to f'in blink you &(*&@## and I did.  A little later he said he new I'd be all right cause I asked what happened (still on side of road here) and when he told me I got fighting mad when he told me I ruined my bike, (I just got done restoring it real nice like) angry

So to the injury's,   WHOA!

Both  hands and wrist are completely shattered. The actual fingers are still in place but the bones in the hands that connect to fingers were all jumbled ud and busted up, same deal with all the little bones in the wrists.  I have 11 pins in left hand and 22 in right that are actually sticking out of the skin and both hands /arms are wrapped with splints and gauze and ace bandage, It will be this way for at least 6 weeks before i get regular casts and pins removed.

The right arm is still black and yellow and swole to twice size

right foot is broken in 6 places and I have 4 internal pins holding bone and ligaments together. It wont bear weight for at least 3months doc. says. Right leg has road rash from knee to hip.

I got 4 broken ribs, 2 each side, one of them pierced my spleen and ripped it up,  The doctors removed the spleen, Emily (my fiance) says the one doc. (I had 5 of em) came literally running down hall (little oriental dude) waving a paper for her to sign he saying (insert oriental accent) he die he die he die  u sign he live u sign he live, freaked her right out she thought I was dead, he needed signature to remove spleen before I died on table, she says she signed and he ran like a bat outta hell back to surgery.

I have 35 staples from navel around belly button up to solar plexis where they split me open,

I got 3 staples and 5 stitches to try and reattach my left nipple  (its a mess discolored and outta round and the actual nub was ground down to nothing)

going horizontally across my stomach i got a gash thats 2in wide and bout 9in long and bout 1 1/2in deep.  Looks like someone took an icecream scoop to my belly.  This wound can not be stitched or stappled, it has to heal as is and will create quite a scar,  Emily has to change the dressing twice a day.  I'm thinking the end of the handlebar dug me here as the leather jacket is gored here as well and the rip end looks round.

There is also road rash were the jacket was split open but thats almost healed already
my left arm bicep has a puncture almost completely through it there are 8 staples holding itm together.

and thats about it.........

As far as the bike goes lets just say it's toasted, I'm getting tired and dont want to spell it all out

I am home although laid up, my family and friends have it all scheduled out to t5ake care of me and nurse me back,  I'm pretty much bed bound right now, i can move a bit get myself into wheelchair.  I am heeling and seeing actual  progress everyday, just gonna be a lotta days. I only can use one finger to type on lap top once it's set u for me. (took me over an hour to write  this)

SOOO  there you have it,  just wanted my peeps to know whats up,  feel free  to relay this post to others if needed or they are curious.  I wont be  able to fly for a couple of months at least but am way psyched to see new version (how is it?)

OK <S> I gotta pass out, the drugs are kickin in

 salute
