Off-Roading in the Tempest
« on: July 22, 2009, 07:09:42 AM »
Sometimes when I am rolling home on the deck in a tempest with 1 gallon of fuel and a couple of angry Ju-88s chasing me I find off-roading it to be the best option. Lakes and trees are to be avoided at all costs. When off-roading the tempest, SA is no longer necessary. I keep my head focused on the terrain and make sure to first engage terra firma with some force; A few bunny hops are good to soften up the suspension after a long flight. Ammo is not important any more. If you have some left, dump it before your first bounce as firing the quad hispanos will decrease your overall off-roading speed.
Anyhow, a few tips for tempest offroading, and a small clip of me practicing the hobby.

Disclaimer: depending on your current ENY, tempest off-roading will be an expensive hobby to start with. Not for the light hearted.

Isn't being chased by "couple of angry Ju-88s" kinda like being chased by 90 year olds in wheelchairs?

dont forget the 90yo has a BB gun and your legs will stop providing momentum 1 minute into the chase!
