Its modeled after the iconic 1968 Bonneville and it melts my heart. :rock

Except-t-t-t shifter is on the left side. The old ones were on the right.

If memory serves, the NTSB ruled that all bikes imported into the US had to have
"shift on the left" in 1974, and the "always on lights" in 76... A good thing I suppose!!!
But it removed some of the unique character that those bikes had..
I have a couple of old Bultaco and CZ dirtbikes that have "shift on the right", LOL!!!
I have to retrain myself to ride them, feels strange.. CZ's also have reversed shift index!!!
That will REALLY mess with your brain!!!

Nice bike Belial!!! Have fun, be safe!!!

Congrats on the new ride Belial.  One of the guys in my squad owns a pretty well respected Ducati, Triumph, and Victory dealership in Cali.  Here's the site if you need something for that Triumph.  www.socalmotorcycles.com

I have my eye on a Triumph Daytona 675 if I can get my ZX-14 that's in pieces right now sold.  I still may put this one back together though, can't quite decide.

I honestly didn't know anyone was making bikes that looked like the old honda 550s and 750s.

I have a friend that works on all types of bikes and four wheelers. He has an old triumph in his shop now that belongs to a friend of his. It has won several awards at bike shows... all original too. He keeps a small pan under it as they all leak a little.

Since 2009 the Bonney has had fuel injection, which from what I've heard from the guys here in town that ride them is a huge plus in fuel economy and performance.  I assume the 2010 is FI as well.

Great, GREAT bike Belial, excellent choice.

Yeah, memory gets dim as ya get older.. Sounds right!   But damn, I LOVE those old bikes!! This is what I have sitting on the bikestand in the shop right now...
Started life as a 75 Z1.. But as you can see its pretty heavily modified now... Wiseco 1200cc bore kit, blah blah.. 3yrs ago, I piled it ugly at the Portland Internat
ional vintage races.. Victim of that nasty Kawi headshake when ya throw on the front binders at 100 plus.. So its getting a full rebuild, trussed and gusseted around
the steering stem, etc... Looking for a frontend from an early 80s GPz 1100, because they have the fatter forktubes... Haven't been able to find one yet!!!
LOL, I know, good luck huh!!!

Heres a recent pic of yours truly, on my favorite racebike.. 83 Maico 490spider...
LOL, Not bad for a 56yo, huh...

need two tools: WD-40 and Duct Tape. If it doesn't move and should, use the
WD-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.

lol be careful out there. We don't need any more of our community folks getting banged up.

The bike has very clean lines. I like it but was surprised it is new.
