I realise allot of people think score in the game is irrelevant but a quick question anyway.

Do you get less points for a kill of say a lancaster in a low ENY plane say Spit 14 (eny 5) as opposed to a higher one Spit 9 (eny 20) ?.

If you land the kill how much effect does this have on the points?

No. The ENY has an impact on perk points you gain, not score points.

If you land the kill how much effect does this have on the points?

Death Multipliers:
Landed 1.0
Ditched 0.75
Bailed 0.5
Captured 0.4
Killed, crashed, discoed: 0.25

Also note that any form of "dying" (including disco, captured & bailed) has also an effect on various other scoring categories, like K/D, or Damage/Death and so on.
Score points are only part of the total score that is used to compute rank ((For example only 1/5th for Fighter Rank)

And btw: "Kill points" in fighter (and attack & vehicle score) are actually "damage points" - the actual kill gives you only 1 point (that you will get even when it's just a proxy kill), the utter majority of points results from damaging the enemy planes.

More than once I had #1 spot in kill points while being far from having the most kills at all.

Lusche answered your question perfectly as always but if you wanted to dig a little deeper into score and find out what does what try reading and comprehending one of these two.

Score is easy but don't let it get the best of you,.... it can ruin your game. Take the information with a grain of salt and score will just happen on it's own.

The real secret to scoring is in plane allocation and knowing how to take a base..... skill of course is required  :aok
