Being in the AirForce and watching them land daily, I have a habbit of re-creating this in the game.
I fly down center runway, halfway (Midfield) I Flare out right, nose slightly up, level out, drop flaps, then gear, then nose in right and flare out center runway with AOA nose high and land it with the throttle. Upwind/crosswind/downwind/base leg/final leg.
You would be suprised how well the pointy hats at HTC did in designing this into the game, the planes handle beautifully and land with no bounce once flown properly and at the right airspeeds (look them up or simply add +10 IAS to your Auto Take off speed when you roll out). Ride the horn all the way down, about mid to lower pitch, not when she is screaming tho, your to slow at that point.
It's fun for me, granted, not while the field is under attack, then its whatever it takes.
