Pretty nice, guitar sounds a lot like ACDC. I do like the guitar in it.

Listening - liking "Whats wrong" a lot - singers voice reminds me of someone, but cant put a name to it as yet. Liking the guitar sound as well fella, nicely overdriven crunch, and good playing.

Sounds really good!

Nice recording job.

Great song writing, reminds me somewhat of the Del Fuegos.

Nice mix between the clean and dirty stuff.

Sounds like Hum, Sound Garden, Social Distortion and the Screaming Trees all mixed together..  Good stuff man.... :aok
Vocals are pretty good....  You sound a lot like Mark Lanegan from the Screaming Trees/Queens of the Stone Age or like a younger Tom Waits....(that's a good thing)

wow ..........I dig it.  really do.......

I'm partial to "What's wrong" because it reminds me of early Phil Lynott (Thin Lizzy)......Dig the guitar work and the bass line as well.  the song has a good commercial feel.........I think it could chart if the tempo was kicked up and the chorus had vocal harmony.

Wow....don't know what to say....you fellas are too nice.  

Thank you very much.

I have to say a word about our drummer Jeff Potts, who passed away too early, at age 31, 9 days after we finished recording.  He was a great friend and a great musician...he was very excited about the project, and I wished he could be here to read these comments.

neg, he has an awesome woodgrained standard I'd love to have...this is real close to what I used on the album:


the only difference is on my guitar the cutaway is dull, not sharp like this one.

You are the only person I have ever met who knows the band Hum lol

I don't' get where you hear them though, maybe on "I'm here" a tiny bit in the first 20 seconds, but none of the other songs really ring up hum in my head. I do hear the Screaming Trees, a hint of Social D, but I also hear something I can't put a finger on... like The Cure, another band from that era a little heavier... I can't place it. is it the Smiths, The Cult... yeah it's The Cult, it's the vocal harmonies, and even the song pattern in "Coming Home".


Mark, good work, there's a lot of styles in there, I hear a lot of influences. Good luck with it, I hope it does well sir!

Yeah, those first couple measures of one of those songs reminded me a little of something off of You'd Prefer an Astronaut..

Dude, there's a lot of music I know that you probably know that no one else knows....  Gonna PM you some shtuff...
