IJN Task Group C16 out of sector?
« on: July 25, 2009, 03:16:38 PM »
Question on the location of IJN Task Group C16 last night.  Although my map is small and hard to read I have C16 as having to stay in Grids 2.19 and 3.19.  325th found and attacked C 16 at 3.18 K9 steaming north at high speed in what looked like to me trying to get back into sector.  We were lucky as it was at about H+55 when the first bombs were dropped and after had swept the two grids twice.

Not complaining on this one as the CV was sunk by us and the 334th sunk the CA.  I'm trying to see if I swept the wrong two grids or was C16 out sector?

Dont know if it happened to CV16 but CV29 was commandeered by a non FSO participant about halfway through the frame. He was booted but it happened.

That Cv may had be placed at the wrong section by acedent.  It happen where we and another squad where looking for the CV.  we send a go 45 mins flying the whole section and outside that section.  ACM forgot to reset the CV position.

Correct it should have been in 2.19 and 3.19.

Don't know what could have happened.
