"If you're having issues with low framerates, adjust the graphics settings under Option>Graphic Details>Advanced to try to improve them. We hope you enjoy Aces High V2.14"
This would be a great MOTD to stifle at least some of the constant BAWWWWWing on country about frame rates.

You should also mention that having 'Detailed Terrain' as the only check-marked item is the same as the previous version.
If you like the Sick Puppy Custom Sound Pack the please consider contributing for future updates by sending a months dues to Hitech Creations for account "Chalenge." Every little bit helps.

Yeah tried all of that...tried lowering to 512 instead of 1024...turned on anti-aliasing...turned it off...turned off all effects...still frame rates went from 75 @512 resolution to 60 at all resolutions.

Starting to wonder if somehow it's picking up the monitors refresh rate in the Windows video settings...gonna test and report back when I can get the game reinstalled.

Well if you have your refresh rate at 60 and frame sync is on then your max frames will be 60...in this update frame sync is now an option within the game, so its probably turned on now which is the way it should be. 60 may look like a lower number, but youll get better results with frame sync turned on

Ok that explains it. I adjusted my monitor refresh rate to 75...after I reinstall, I'll see what happens...thanks for the info.
