On some ways yes - your framerate is most probably limited by Vsync (as it should be), because most TFTs have a refresh rate of 60Hz. Many of those running at FR60 could get theoretically much higher framerates.

It's hard for me to say what the "average" framerate really is, not only because of this limitation, but also because usually only the players with FR problems do post here.

yes zack that is most likely the maximum refresh of your monitor.

No doubt you have a PC built in the last 4 years   :lol.

Totally agree shreck!  it is time people get with the program.  All this BS about the economy,  the economy was fine 1 - 2 years ago no excuse to not have upgraded then   ;).

I fear the technophobes are freaking out which could be quite a few guys in the community.  Hopefully some of the incessant warping will clear up as i'm 100% sure it isn't all connection related  ;)      Time to clear out the deadwood.

Im running the game full bore, all settings max, and Im getting 40 to 60 fps. Like its been mentioned my frame rate is limited by my screen refresh rate cause I have V-sync forced on. Funny but I get just a tad jerky when nothings going on and I have a high FR.

My system is almost a year old. If we ever get a backpay check I'll probably give it to my kid and buy a new gamer.

The last thing we needed was a terrain and water update.

Everyone would have been happy with 5-6 new planes, along with a couple new maps. (because the majority are terrible)

Now you claim that it is clearing the "deadwood" out of Aces High, when in fact it is driving some of the most experienced and veteran pilots away. People that have been playing long before you my friend..

How does HTC expect to market their brand in any way off this update? By attacting the 14 year old kid who lives entirely off Mommy and Daddy's dime, and gets a new video card every 3 months? This is the definitely the non-ideal type of person AH needs in the community.

As opposed to the people with antiquated hardware spamming every thread with complaints and prophecies of doom? What a great and fun community this appears to be, if one were to only see the forums today.

As far as the type of person AH needs- subscribers. 14 or 80, as long as there are more next month, than last month, it does not matter. It's a business, not a club.
