Spit14 is cured
« on: July 29, 2009, 06:45:22 AM »
Wooowooo!

I just took it for a spin offline and it's nasty stall characteristics are gone.  The correction of the fuel tanks has dnoe the trick. :)

I'm going to be flying the spit14 as my main ride from now on, it is much more of a beast of a plane than it used to be.

outstanding!  :x

probably my fav ride in the game (certainly most effective) but with a few handling quirks which didnt seem consistent with the other spits, cant wait to try it out (was going to fly spits next tour anyway.)

A man fires an automatic rifle into the sky at a flock of birds.  After about a thousand rounds he finally hits one and it falls dead.  "Success!" he says.

Actually, what made the Spitfire such an amazing plane was that it was aerodynamically stable enough for KIDS to fly them in defense of their country... so, Spitfires really WERE for kids, as were most American planes...

Right, hence the appellation "ensign eliminator."  Moreover, from what I've read, the P-51 had a nasty tendency to stall without warning until you accrued some time in it.

By the end of the war, that's all they had left.
Amazing you could actually recruit that much suck into one squad.
