I downloaded that help thing red through it and noticed they had the story behind the paint scheme off certain plane and stuff .Like the top p38 aces paint scheme was on there and this got me thinking about the b17 paint scheme.memphis belle was the top b17 so why did they not put that scheme on it. but i realised the memphis belle was an early model b17 and thought so what lets stick it in AH anyway

We have a B-17G, late production.

The Memphis Belle was a B-17F, IIRC (if not an F, then an E).

If the B-17F is added, I think the Memphis Belle would be a great color scheme to use.

Memphis Belle was an F model.

The B17 used in the movie was converted from a G to a F, it's in a museuem about 5 miles from me  :)
