AH's RAF need more a/c. We need a late Spitfire IX and a Spitfire XIV. The Tempest should not be perked. Gimme only one reason why the Tempest is perked and the P-51D or the Dora are not.

Oh yeah, I was forgetting our Japanese friends. They need at least the Ki-84 and one of those B-29 hunters ... I dont remember which one.

And bring the G.55 "Centauro"! We eyetie pilots need to CAP our HQ against off-map dweebs with something decent at high alt.

Tempest is perked because it's a mean 1943 mutha and the Typhoon can still murder the Dora with a little luck

Probably thinking of the J2M Raiden, yet another Navy plane.

Or perhaps the Army's Ki-61 Hien, which was also used as a B-29 interceptor.

Flew the Tempest last night, we could change the name to Tempest High if not perked! Excellent A/C!

Tempest needs to stay perked, IMHO.

However, now that we have a Fw190D-9 with MW50, and its not perked, I am much less certain that the Spitfire F.MkXIVc should be perked.

In fact, I don't think it should be. At least not initially.

(I flew the D-9 last night and that thing is NICE)
