Less on polls.

1. To be a valid poll it has to be a random sample chosen by the pollster..

2. This poll has 2 very bad non representative things about 1st to be a part of the poll you have to be on this bbs, and this bbs is not in any way a representative cross section of our customer.

3. The poll is optional, so again you have done another filter of who will and will not answer the poll.

4. Take our logo off the poll, or send us email for written consent from us.

The bbs is not a cross section because of the simple fact that the people here choose to post on the bbs. That fact is a very big filter of a persons personality and hence a large filter of opinions.

If they truely wanted to see what people really though via a poll, they'd use an in game poll (How we have the B-25).  Otherwise I'm sure they are aware of their subscibers, through other methods.

I myself at first was unsure of the new terrain...but now I love it.  Pretty water, nice palms, and two new planes.  Can't wait for the terrain editior to be released so I can start working on a new map or two.

Incorrect poll quoting and inferences is something that always amazes me by politicians and the news. This is the only reason I was chiming in.

As an an example you poll is accurate if the results are stated as follows.

This is a question of people who use the aceshigh bbs, but may or may not fly aceshigh. It must be noted that the BBS is not a cross section of the Aces High Population. Of the xxxx users currently active on the bbs, only xx choose to answer the poll.

Now a new agency would typically take a poll like this and completely skip over the qualifications when using the stats.
