Additional Name or account

In order to have a second "in game name/Id" do I need an additional account? I would expect to have to log in as one name or the other.  In the account admin. area it has "create account" but I wasn't sure if entering information to establish a new account would somehow disrupt the old one that I'd like to keep using.

Yes, you just have to order another subscription, it won't disrupt anything.

I noticed after my post someone re-posted an old string about "shades."
I don't really understand all of it, it's has many pages. I planned on keeping track of a couple different things but they didn't have anything to do with spying.......If that's the case then one user with multiple names should only be able to be with one country at a time. I think that would be good for the game.
I've only been playing AH for a very short time and I really enjoy it but it's really sad to see that this is an issue.

There is nothing wrong with a player having more than one account.  It's how those additional accounts are used that can become a problem.

You get nice blokes likes Tunes who had 4 accounts at one time.  He's a bomber guy with his own bomber wing.    

Stays on one side flying 4 accounts at once bombing the snot out of stuff.  After a few cans I thought about his situation and decided the key to his success was his swivel chair or more importantly  the bearings within.   

Then you get idiots both adults and kids.  This time of year (school brake) you'll see spying because these folk are real clever  and worked it out as to what to do.  Then there's them that shoot themselves for score and perkies cause they ain't gots what it takes to earn it proper likes.

Anyway, having 2 accounts is not always bad. My kids play for a bit now and again and I have setup accounts for 1 of them in hopes they'd stick with it and I'd have my son as a wingman.
I can honestly say I've never, ever used any accounts to come close to bending the rules. that's taboo for me. I change my name on occasion because I just plain get tired of being Uptown. I'll change my cpid for good one day Heck, the other night I was RedBone. Did I kill any of ya?

Tunes is still around, had the good fortune to bump into him and his 4 flights of Lancs in a 262 early last tour.

Thats the thing, you could use two different CC's and get away with that. It's almost too much work for something that might not have much affect.

Additional account for family members & freinds? Or someone with a high "profile" (for example Trainer, CM, HTC staff, CH200 warrior) or anyone not feeling to get social to fly a few sorties in peace? Or to fly 4 sets of buffs at once thus providing me with a lot of free kills?

Haven t seen TUNES since the Single Arena days. Nothing like Buff hunting and seeing those 4 sets in formation......he was pretty tuff in those things too, unless you caught him AFK........ !
