I wonder, is this a good enough reason to upgrade my computer? After all, the opening mission has a guy with an awesome accent.

There were rumors a while back about it being canceled.  The game has been in development for a very long time.

In fact, however, the game will be released (I guess Q2 2010).  What *has* been canceled is some "Aliens" MMORPG they were working on... well... in PR speak, its been "indefinitely put on hold."

Anyway, fear not, A:CM is coming.  Im looking forward to it.  Had a blast playing Aliens Online if any of you remember that from your Gamestorm days.  This version is supposed to be a co-op game, primarily, so think Left 4 Dead, but with Aliens instead of zombies.  Seems like an A+ idea to me.

I did, getting to play along side him is reason enough to upgrade my computer.

I can't figure out if I'm more excited about MW2 or this:

It's likely that less people will be excited about this one, but I've always really loved games with a bit of history and the 'stealth kill' emphasis.

Killing with knives is so much more fun than with guns.

The first one does get repetitive.... but I still love the whole Crusade history and philosophical elements to it.

I'm a big enough loser that I'm going to get it for the PS3. I have COD4 on the xBox and got used to it that way, so might as well stick with it. Just that I'd like to move my gaming away from that hunk of junk before it melts. :noid

I am very excited about AC2, ecspecially the divinci element that they are putting into the game.

I would like to get Assasin's Creed II, but I hear an even better game to get for 'stealth kills' is Hitman. I watch 4playerpodcast on jtv ( justin.tv/fourplayerpodcast ), and they play alot of games! They enjoy Hitman more, and it sure looks fun.
