Is 109G10 slower now?

 Will do some tests later but my definate intial impression is that 109G10 is definatly slower than before, since no changes to 109 FM were announced this (if true) must be some unintended consequece of v1.06. Several other 109 pilots also agreed when I brought this up in MA so im sure it isnt anything dealing with my puter or con.
Has any other frequent G10 pilot noticed too?

well they did prove it was to fast didnt they ? like it was k4 fast . but would be nice if they told us.

didnt they add a lot of aerodynamic effects to the game?

My P38 seems a lot nimbler now. I kinda like it!  

Ive flown only the 109g2 since the patch, and it does seem to bleed speed faster now. Dunno, ask some 109 geek... Hey Nath! what say you? =)

Yep.. i have noticed that.... in fact, more than top speed, i have noticed it in the comparative rate of climb against p51 for example.
I used to do gentle, sustained or spiral climbs to dictate the pace of the fight and attack them when they fell behind trying to follow, now it doesnt work anymore, i have tried 4 or 5 times and they always catch me. Since it was the only advantage of the 109 I could use due to my poor ACM, i guess iŽll have to look for another plane as main ride...  .
Man, I felt at home at that cramped cockpit...

With speed, I haven't seen any differences..
I tried with full and as light as possible loads. (no external stuff of course)
Only funny thing that I noticed was exceptional gliding ability which every plane has so far what I've tried.

If there really are some differences in G10 versus other planes, it might be because of some general level FM tweaks.
It wouldn't surprise me, since those planes do glide or retain E better than I could believe.
though, I have no idea how they really glide/retain E.. but gliding 200mph at treetop level for miles....?
