I don't know about the fake part. If someone can jump from 20FT + and land in 1 foot of water without physically hurting themselves, this can most definitely be accomplished.

It looks like he jumped into one of those big pools with the inflatable ring at the rim. Not on of those 1ft deep kiddy pools. I must agree, if you could get the aim right then this is possible.

Yes, it was a 3-4 foot deep pool. I actually own one of them so I can easily recognize them. I was using the 1-foot pool statement as an example.
