Sunday Night Observations
« on: August 10, 2009, 01:22:30 AM »
A couple of things noticed by several in the group I was flying with:

-- Intermittent kill effects, such as explosion (sight and sound) with an auger.  Sometimes we heard and saw them and other times they just disappeared!

-- An ability to fly through trees in my Spit VIII.  (Not complaining as the P-38 exploded on impact.)

-- In LWO at least, the towns were popping back up in far less that 45 minutes -- 15 perhaps?

I don't think these problems were with my system as others noted them as well.  Just passing the observations along.

All I noticed tonight was that there were some real fighters playing. I love these P-38 guys. They have the real skill. I actually had some dog fight tonights. Several of them. Not the usually sissy worm stuff I get when I log on, but real man and machine stuff. I had a great time. I may just fly Sundays from now on.

Augered behind him??  That means he augered which means you did not kill him.  :D
