I remember how much fun it was to fly Simguild's "Flying Circus" when it first came out back around 1996 or 1997. It was free, looked good at the time, played well, and was a heck of a lot of fun. Haven't seen anything comparable since, and it has been ten years since Simguild went belly up.

I bought Rise of Aces recently, hoping for a good WW1 sim...  Unfortunately, while the game is very pretty to look at, the setup and game play is very ugly.  In my opinion.  Wish I could get my $40 back.
