Don't have a chance to test it right now since I have to go to work but I am glad I can play it without the stutters.

That's strange. I have a Core 2 Quad, and no stutters at all.

Ugh. Well I ll see how it is whn I DL tonight before FSO. Stutters haven't been bad but would rather run both cores and not get any

I never had stutters, and I run a Core 2 Duo.

Game is back, for my rig. (overclocked 1Gig AMD, Nvidia 8800 overclocked)

Last week, FR of 5 flying by myself, with massive stutters, WITH DETAIL OFF.

Today, FR of 35 in a small furball, no stutters, full detail ON.

Why'd you have to fix it.... I was getting sooo much real work done.

My system is suddenly doing the wierd frame drop in tower thing...that's even after reverting back to 512 textures from the 1024+hires pack...zero stutters...same game play as before.
