Been awhile since I been in TA, but I think there are designated fields for bombers, fighters, and GVs. Were you at the right field?

yep, main field, but even then when at the rook bases north of the bish bases you could pick all but me-163

As far as I know, there is no way to enable arena settings at one field and not another.

Dudes can be killed in DA. TA is there for teaching & learning, not getting kills

yes, but you gotta learn the sweetspot of hitting the plane and you wont know w/o parts falling off

Enabling that would be bad for the TA
Not only, because griefers or clueless dolts will interfere with training sessions and shoot other players out of the sky just because,
but also because it's a great advantage for training purposes NOT to have to reup each time you are hit.

It's very simple: If you want to inflict damage, you can do it in DA. There is no reason you can't practice there.

yeah, i guess you could pick your friends, and you could pick your nose, you can also pick a hole into your friends body with a bullet in DA  , so never mind about this, unless they make a new arena for free for all.

That's how the DA used to be, but it was changed since and probably not by mistake.
