I would have to vote for the foreign C-47's as pointed out by funked and the Ju-52.

For Italy, I would rather see a dedicated bomber. Hmmm, you guys do have a valid point though about the Cant Z. 1007 though. OK, add all three  :D

How about the Curtiss commando?
More powerful and faster than the C-47..
It was very interesting to carry out the flight trials at Rechlin with the Spitfire and the Hurricane. Both types are very simple to fly compared to our aircraft, and childishly easy to take-off and land. (Werner Mölders)

I vote for the JU52. Would be slower, less range than C47 but could be used as bomber too and has guns (2 MG if im right).
So one has to make the choice between a "relative" fast C47 without guns or a slow JU52 with guns (which also could be a bomber). I dont want to see a better performer (with guns) than the C47 cause no one would fly the C47 anymore.

I am prety shure a large number of people would love to see a new transport, and one with guns at that, wheather it is a Tabby, Ju 52. S.M. 82, or whatever is and will always be a subject for debate.

What the big point is will HTC actualy do this? As has been mentioned above if they did why would anyone fly the C 47 when they could launch a Tabby on the same mishion with 3 guns to defend theam selves?

Exactly thats it brady!. Therfore I like to see the JU52 (or a similar one) which is slower and maybe more fragile than the C47 but armed.
