And the next transport should be...

I'll go for an Axis one:

Payload          40 + troops and their equipment, or one fighter (dismantled)

Empty weight  23,259lbs, max 39,727lbs

Armament     one .50 and four light mgs. and or , or 8,818lbs as a bomber   ;)

Range                1,864 miles

Max speed         230mph, cruising 186mph

Built                     400+

S.M. 82 Canguru  :D

I'd like to see the Japanese and Soviet versions of the C-47, with defensive armament.

Well we could "reskin" the C47 we have and add some guns.

THEN

Put in a transport from another country such as the Ju52.

Would be nice if the next transport was a troop-carrying flying boat, like that huge German thing (think it was a Blomm und Voss but forget the designation).

Lets compare the Ju 52 and the S.M. 82.
(edit... Humm, the formating did not transfer, but I think it's understandable)

                           S.M.82                   Ju 52

Range           1,864miles         620 miles WITH aux tanks, 808miles

Max speed       230mph                171mph

Cruising           186mph                 130

Troops               40+                           18

empty weight    23,259lbs             12,610

Max  weight       39,727lbs             23,149

armament    1 .50cal, 4 light mgs   2 light mgs

Bombs             8,818lbs                  1,102lbs

And the AZ types will like the name   ;)

H8K4 "Emily"

Armored, fast, great climb rate, tremendous range and well defended.

The Cant Z.1007 is faster, better armed, and LOTs nicer looking, but the troop and cargo load is not bad in the S.M.82. He he, the question when you see three headed to your field is what one(s) have the bombs, what one(s) the troops  ;)

For an all out Italian bomber, the best is the P.108. I want the P.108A  :D

> A Tabby would be just to easy

Yep.

For a small cargo bird the Gotha 244 is not too bad, but an easy target.

Yes the P.108 would be the best by far without a doubt, but so few were made I think some may balk at it's inclushion for this reasion alone.

The S.M. 82 is Interesting because of it's payload and the troop carying capability that could be easly done by a variant, this 2 birds for one throw aspect makes it interesting, in so much as MA use is concerened.

I think the Cant Z 1007 would be a good choice for a buff though one that HTC might actualy do. built in respectable #'s and in uses throught the war, good bomb load for a medieum buff and usefull for scenarious.

The P 108 the best of all the Italian Buff's might loses out as far as HTC is concerned because of the low numbers produced :(

At any rate any one of the 3 would be a graet addation to the MA, It is high time that Italy got a new toy :)

I was thinking of planes HTC might actually want to spend time and money to introduce.

Here's my suggestion:

DC-2 in Finnish Air Force markings    :)

Perfect play balance: It would have a machine gun but would be slower than C-47.    :)

I know everyone in their right mind would choose speed over bb-gun but I would fly this one.   :D

Wow that thing is smurfy.

I'd like to see the Gigant, but it would probably just be easy meat in the MA.
