I like political chat on 200 or country...  A large community of adults can give you many angles to consider. 

Don't know about most of you out there but, I pay my monthly fees to play a WWII game. If I want political or religious bantor, I'll turn the damn television on. Time to be Sooooo IN with this.

Quite right.  It is worthy of a ".report" when those topics are brought up on any channel, not just 200.

So in now.

An electrical shock would be nice.

In reality, they are suppose to be doing this. I for one have strong views and I keep my mouth shut just because I'm in the game for the game.

This is where I'm at, too. I agree with Lusche's sentiments but then he goes and engages in the same thing himself - as if to mimic in that typically American liberal trait of calling out the capitalists among us as troglodytic ideologues while attempting to advance the "non-ideological enlightened & educated" economics of socialism (as if anyone who's studied economics at even the undergrad level thinks of it as credible economic thinking and as if somehow their own position wasn't ideological).

Look here.  It's just a plain fact that it's Americans who spam country channel with politics.  It's not Snailman, Kazaa, Manurin, Turner, Pjk, wmaker, or any of the other non-American players.  And let me tell you something else, I'm American and I don't enjoy hearing my countrymen spout off sound-bites they learned on TV.  I don't share my political opinions on country channel where others are a captive audience, and I expect the same courtesy from them.

Just because our country played a major role in WW2 60+ years ago isn't an excuse to act like jerks.

Fair enough - but it probably wasn't your intent to spread a political agenda here, correct? It just seemed inconsistent/unintended and rankled slightly because of it.

  Being American is all about Freedom. Unfortunately Freedom of speech allows stupidity to be spoken. It's very hard to sway a political veiw of others and those that attempt it on a game are wasting thier time. Some of the problems in the USA are with the apathy of many of the people with only 50% of the citizens voting.
  Get off the Game and get your Neighbor to Vote or shut up.
 
 But in my opinion:

 Yes we are the Greatest Country.
 
 Yes we have done more for Freedom over the years than any other.

 Yes we protect the freeworld so other countries don't have to invest in thier military.

 Yes we win wars and Give the Territory Back.

 Yes we make mistakes but attempt to right past wrongs.

The only way to do the topic justice is to discuss it thoroughly. Which means a high volume (and the text buffer's tiny) of off-topic text that's usually also inflammatory and definitely works against the game regardless of how polite it's discussed.  

So if you really want to discuss it, do something like Nuke did, start a forum and invite everyone to discuss it all there.  Or if you don't have the time/patience to start such a forum, find one and rally everyone there.  The discussion'll be completely uncensored and the game will be better off from it.
