Question about IJN 20mm
« on: November 03, 2000, 09:10:00 PM »
The one thing that stood out to me in the Niklas' velocity tests of cannons is that there is a noticable difference in the performance of the 20mm guns on the A6M5 and the N1K1.  On the Charts and in AH they are listed as (respectively) the "99 Mk2" and "99 Model 2".  I've checked some sources and as far as I can tell these should be the same guns.  Are the 20mms on the N1k1 and A6m5 really different guns?  If so, does anybody have any information about the N1K guns?

They are the same gun or at least they should be.  The labels are just typed in for the loadout screen and are completely independent.  That's just a typo that wouldn't affect anything else.

The N1K1-J and A6M5 both used the model 1.  Starting with the N1K2-J and A6M5a, they switched to the model 2.
