pls check this side http://members.aol.com/dheitm8612/black6.htm

there is a ORIGINAL COCKPIT SOUND OF THE
109g6 (DB605A)

you did a good job with current ones,
but if you can do a G2/g6/g10 sound from
this original sound, you would RULE!!!

HABICHT, in fact those are the sounds I used. WHat I had to do was combine the idle engine and the in-flight sound to create a convincing "overall" sound.  Like I've said before, it is very simple to take the high rpm wav and use it all by itself. The probelm arises when you take it to idel with the same wav. Instead of hearing the gurgling of the DB engine, you will hear a scratchy static sound because it is lowering the pitch of the high rpm wav. The only alternative is to mix in the low rpm wav so that it comes through when at idle.

It is a compromise but it is the only way I can see to get a good sound at both high and low rpm's. I just wish we ahd sounds of that quality for the rare birds.
