is the CV ack more dangerous to level bombers then it was?

I know it is to Jabos but if Lancs can still skate over at 5k, without missing a beat, then what good is it?

That would be a resounding YES!!! And as much as I hate losing an engine from the puffy after a few "pops" it does make the game much more realistic and challenging. ( Of course I do think my favorite ride the " Hog" is too susceptible to losing an engine )

Realistic ? Hmm, I was teasing it last night just to see how it had changed. I find it to be much intense although less accurate.
As far as realistic, well I'm not sure puffy back in the day could range you at 10-15 miles, but I could be wrong

You're getting ranged by puffy ack at 10-15 MILES??? 

I've seen 300 to 30,000 feet...and a radius of maybe 5 miles at worst...you must have been getting shot at by a haxxor on a 5 inch gun.

I have been shot down by "friendly" puffy quite a few times in the past.
Including losing 2 Me 262s when I was trying to kill buffs inbound to our CV

My only beef with the puffy is that it starts going off the INSTANT you break 3k.  Now if there is a just a constant 360 degree barrage of puffy with proximity fusees that don't activate below 3k being blasted out from each CV this would make sense.  But since the puffy seems to target individual aircraft this does seem to be the case.  Unless of course puffy ack shells are supposed to travel at the speed of light, in which case disregard.
