White screen of death

OK ..started having problems with the upgrade...like getting stutters or white screen and then lockup...  Sometimes the game would work for 30 minutes then lock up. 

Last patch led to white screen when loading the game..... Sooooo uninstalled Aces high and reinstalled newest version. 

Now I am still getting white screen after choosing online arena....while the game starts to load, white screen appears with reporting message.....any ideas on how to fix this mess? 

Have decent video card- think its a nivida 7800ish

posting dxdiag specs would be helpful to the guru's.
