How about the A46 CAC Boomerang?

Would give us Aussies a unique little turnfighter.  It could duel with Camo's Brewster.  :)

Seriously though, look here for a description.

It has two hispanos and four .303 brownings.

Did someone say F4F?  I'll join that formation if ever introduced.

Also, the P51B with the "good" engine?  What does it have now and what would be the difference??

Good thread.

I like to fly in C202.
Riding Classical plane is fun.

I really want Ki-43-III-a for some reasons.

it's fastest model than any other Ki-43s (560km/h at 5,850m).

it has best climb performance in any Ki-43s (5'19" to 5,000m).

2 12.7mm MGs are enough to kill, it's not impossible to kill enemy.  :)

Fester, Ki-43-III-b had 2 Ho-5 Cannons on nose, but only 2 Ki-43-III-b were produced, and Nakajima is not mass-produced it.

I can send any Ki-43's paints, 3 views, interior photos, flap mechanism, and info to HTC.  :)

Mitsu

P.S
Vermillion,

Yes, Ki-100 is heavier wing loaded than Ki-61-I-b, but it removed "heavy" liquid cooled engine, and tail's weight balance. so it would be surely better than Ki-61-I-KAIc...

My wish list of new TnB planes in next version(japanese planes):

Ki-43-III-a
Ki-100-I-b
Ki-61-I-b (with different paint scheme)
Ki-61-II (for out-running from nik <g> )

If HTC is god, I wanna see them too.   :D

Ki-44-II-b
Ki-84-I-a
Ki-102-I-b

its clear by the usage of primarily the spit9 and n1k2 tht a vast majority of players in Aces High are very fond of flying a competant turn fighter instead of a fast E fighter or B&z machine.

I wonder... in fact do newer players prefer turn fighters because everyone thinks that a classic "dogfight" is the most fun and or realistic WWII combat? It's not imo, or realistic for that matter.

I used to get infuriated 109's would zoom down and pop shot me, extending, repeat. I think Santa drove me to a G10, and then finally till I tried the 190A8. After a bit of a learning curve with Central, the bulb finally went on.

Stable BnZ planes are in fact easier to fly, and Ive said it before with much argument from ironically the LW crowd. Granted it takes a bit of planning and patience, but I can't see how that learning curve is any worse than ACM in fast dizzying tight turn fights. Once you get the 190A8 fingered out, Dora baby!

So I would hope some new players would opt to try and BnZ with more experienced players showing them the ropes.

No wait, less of all these new TnB planes to kill? Nevermind.

From what I know The Ki100 is lighter than the Ki61. Its only worse than the late Ki61s in top speed. It did everything else better. especially climb and overall manouverability. A wartime IJA test showed a Ki100 with a competant pilot could easily fight against 2 captured P51s flown by equally skilled pilots.

109 Emil would rock my world

Mine too    :D

I agree with you on the easyness of BnZ planes above turn fighters for rookies Creamo (IF they have the patience)

For those who prefer to fly LW planes though it's hard to do base defense in the current 190's and 109's (109F4, is not too bad). And I up a a6m to do base defense because we don't have an Emil. Upping from a adjacent base in the current 109's and 190's to get them up to speed and some alt is not always an option (especially with the current base capture setup). I never understood why we have the Spit V but don't have the 109E variants.

S!

Guys who love to turn and burn actually need the IL-16 type 24.

Wing loading of 24 lb/Sq. Ft.

Monster size ailerons for wing area

1000 hp Radial engine

2 20mm cannon in nose

Top speed of 324mph at S.L.  (Quite a bit slower at higher alts due to complete lack of supercharging)

This manic little bumble bee of a plane would make believers out of a lot of Spit drivers.

Brewster Buffalos pilots in the Finnish Air Force were cautioned not to turnfight with this plane.  They were told to B&Z it, lol.
