Well, I was messin' around with the sound settings and all of the sudden it works now. I couldn't tell you what all I did that made it work...but it works! I just reset every sound default that I could find. Now, I can hear when my engine goes out during flight. =)

FYI - I had to change my call sign in the game...it's now BlueJ29.

None...other than Firefox and the background programs that are always running.

Shouldn't be that high Blue...if you haven't turned off all the eye candy built into Vista do so...it just hogs resources needlessly.

If you can turn off the memory resident portion of your anti-virus while gaming do that too.

Might also help to turn off the automatic updates and your firewall before you start up AH...paging file usage will go down.
