There was a group online called GROWL that ran NASCAR 2003
..bunch from AW, Warbirds, AH . . did whole nascar seasons.
It was a lot of fun for a long time.
Head Hunter was *fast* always, tuff to even stay with.
I left when it became bumper cars instead of racing.

I was in GROWL (during the GPL days), I shortly after NASCAR 2003 was put in instead.

Downloading the demo of GRID.   My 7 year old got a handle of Forza on the Orig. Xbox yesterday at a friends house.  It also took me back to the days of Gran Turismo and pretty much kicking who's ever arse I came across.

I played rFactor on an inferior machine when it was still in Beta with a single car.   Thank you ArtLaw :)

Try having a jeep race around TT city while a fight is going on. The winner is the last one standing, great fun!  :rofl

Wow.

Just watched some trailers for Need for Speed: Shift on the IGN.com site.
Just Wow.

Yanno .. I hate EA .. but ... I remember the Con when we played smash up Porsche's goin for the 'Alabama' look :)
It was a blast .. and Shift looks to be a whole next generation of fun.

I'm sort of a WRC/Rallying affectionado..
Having said that, there's a few PC Rally sims/games that I play....
While being a tad dated(came out in 04), Colin Mcrae 2005 is probably my favorite..
I really enjoy most of the entire Colin Mcrae PC series..  I have played DiRT and DiRT2(both part of the series) and
am not exactly impressed with either..  The physics seem off..  Maybe they're more realistic??  Not sure..
I'm also playing Xpand Rally Extreme which has excellent graphics but is a lot more difficult than Colin Mcrae 2005..
I use an analog/digital pad similar to what the PS2/PS3 uses..  I may find my nuts in a glass of ice water next time
when I wake up in the morning if she saw a wheel and pedals sitting there... :noid
I like classy, beautiful, intelligent woman that say the "F" word a lot....

GRID is sick!!

Gran Turismo was awesome. had a lot of fun playing that.
