Agreed, I'm not aware of any B5N variant with forward armament.

He's probably thinking the B6N.

wiki says some were equiped with a 7.7mm gun in each wing.

You're about as well off now.

Tell that to the poor guys in scenarios flying them. On the other hand there is a lot I'd like to see done before the B5N.

A "number" can be as few as 2-3 experimental aircraft.

The majority of B5Ns had no forward guns. There was no specific model that added forward guns. Unless you've got something that show's that "number of B5N1s" was a significant percentage of the production run I say they have no place being modeled.

HTC's recent models (F4U and onward) have graphically been MUCH better than Il2's.

The only things I've noticed that are missing in the AH models have been details like the moving cowl and radiator flaps, which are really unnecessary since there's no use for them in the game anyway.

I WOULD like to see models where adjusting your trim only moves the trim TABS, rather than the entire control surface, where it's appropriate. Although Il-2 didn't do that, either.

Yeah, at this point the models would be as good as anything out there, if they got bump and reflectivity maps.
