Buy an NZXT Khaos case for $400, put two PSU's in it.   It's your money.  What in God's name would ANY game need Quad SLi?

You should read all of his posts regarding computers...then you will understand why he has a setup no current game sold can even begin to utilize.

I have 2x9800gt's SLI... I get the same thing when I first click on AHII... It white screens for just a split second before the splash screen comes up... Game runs perfect, so never thought anything of it...
Didn't do that on my old machine with a single nVidia FX series card, even tho it was a caveman computer..
So I'm guessin, (only guessin) that it might be an "SLI thing"?  Never causes a prob gamewise!!!

Quad SLI, wow, LOL!!!  I'll get there too eventually.. Like all hobbies, I slowly learn more, and take the steps forward one at a time... I only started paying attn to computers a year ago.. Before that, they were like kitchen appliances to me... The, "It's a refrigerator, OK, it keeps my beer cold, good deal!!" attitude, LOL!!!
When I found out that I could build a Hotrod machine, they became MUCH more interesting to me!!!

Another new hobby, for when my other hobbies are out of season, or I get too old to do them anymore!!!

I own it, and play it maxed, or very close, with a GTX 260 (running in x8 due to motherboard) and an AMD x2 2.5GHz.  Fr is typically 15, so not great, but I doubt Quad SLI is needed for it.

LOL...you assume too much Chalenge...I've got 4 systems I use for various purposes...FSX runs just as well on my 5yr old P4 system as it does on my newest Core2 system...without SLI or crossfire or any other over priced ubertech 1337 hardware.

Quad SLI has been repeatedly reported to decrease game performance in many popular games, especially with games using older graphics engines...<hint><hint>...you're driving a 200mph car in a 25mph speed zone with bumper to bumper traffic...by the time you get to the point where all that stuff is truly useful, it will be considered antique.

I always thought I got good advice on this board but I may have to reassess that impression especially with your response bordering on blatant criticism of my desire for faster hardware. My 'overpriced ubertech 1337 hardware' gives me twice the fps (varies from 42-56) I had on 8800 GTs in SLI and much better than the 4870 I used for a 'very' short time. Im not using the eVGA Classified MB yet but thats next and yes I may very well be going with dual PSUs. No shame there.

With a 295 even a single card causes flashing white screens and its obvious no one can say why. Thanks anyway.

Call Skuzzy and see if there is still a bug with SLi.  You're "technically have Quad SLi) now.   White Screens have a few causes, SKuzzy would know.

The only 'non-functional' SLI reports I have seen or read about are caused by bad profiles in Nvidia Control panel as we have reported on and handled on this board on numerous occasions.
