A couple of weeks ago I had an absolutely freak kill against a Pony. I forget exactly which plane I was in but I took a quick burst snapshot at a Pony that had overshot me, using just BBs. I got exactly one ping on the Pony's wingroot and his wing fell off. One single machine-gun hit took off his wing. He wasn't smoking or obviously missing any parts, but I can't say for sure whether he was previously shot up already, or if I scored that once-in-a-lifetime Golden BB hit, but I got the kill, so if he'd already been shot up, his previous foe was no longer in flight. Needless to say it was just about the freakiest kill I've yet seen in AH in terms of sheer improbability.
Last night I was flying with a squadmate, and I told him I was out of cannon but I'd help him out with an LA-7 that had shown up, by spraying some BBs at it to make it turn and bleed off some E. I was in a K4 so it was basically 50 caliber machine-guns, not the wimpier 8mm ones, and the LA just happened to turn in such a way that my burst held onto his left wing for like 1/4 or a second or so, and off it came. I chuckled at that one.
During the most recent Battle of Britain, I joined Delirium's 110C after mine was already down, and watched as he racked up about five or six kills with his BBs only, since he was out of cannon.
