P-38 Stall Behavior

I've read in a couple of places that the plane would not drop a wing during an accelerated stall.

But in AH it seems to drop a wing.  It's not vicious by any means, but it doesn't match the accounts of pilots who flew the plane - they said it would just "mush".

Are these guys wrong?  Is the model missing some subtle aspect of the dynamics of the P-38?

was wondering the same thing myself funked, always was under the impression it was docile like a 172 in a full complete stall but just like a 172 could be spun with rudder

Now, granted I've not been living in the P38 since it's been out, but...

Shouldn't it be possible for any a/c to drop a wing in an accelerated stall? For instance, if you are banking hard left, if you exceed maximum sustained G for too long shouldn't the outside wing fall?

Now, just trying to be clear here... we are talking about accelerated stalls, not just power on/off, wings-level types, right?

I know the 38 had contra-rotating engines, and this stabilized the craft (for a number of reasons). I also know (dare I say this!) it has a long rolling moment, therefor it should be somewhat resistant to rolling. But it seems there should be situations where one wing will drop first when pulling hard.
