I am starting to get bored of this game. I have been playing for weeks feeling like this, and it is just getting worse. I scroll down the fighters list, and one by one, I name a reason why I don't want to fly them, reasons like under modeling, terrible performance in LW, because everyone flys them, ect. Scratch fighters off the list then.

    Bombers? No. I don't want to fly for 15 minutes to bomb something, and have it pop even before I land. Perhaps gunning? No. too tired of the one hit wonders that light 2 of my 3 bombers up on one pass. Scratch bombers off the list.

   GVs? Yes. GV fights are fun, they are the only thing holding me on right now, but they only occur once every 2 hours or so. Attack one of there bases? No. Why would I want to drive for 15 minutes to only be picked by 3 IL2s? Maybe drag out the old osti and take 'em down? Nope, there's an m8 in the trees over there waiting for me to do that.

Maybe I should take a break?

The game is as much fun as you put into it. If you wait around for someone else to supply the fun your in the wrong game.

Under modeled, over modeled, how would you know? Do you have a fleet of warbirds at your own private airport?

Have you mastered any plane in the game? I've never heard of you, and eventually you hear about ever one of the good sticks, who are you?

When ever i get bored i try to get #1 in some kind of category, just to see how i would do. Im doing that this tour, when im tired of porking strats and picking in a Tempest, i will be back into dweeb mode.

If you are bored, you need to hit the training arena. Because no one has ever gotten "bored" with this game while racking up lots and lots of kills in a plane they like. Those who will tell you so are big fat liars. Who could get bored of motoring up behind their fellow players and ruining their sorties?  It is only boring when you are getting shot down.

Try a different arena for a while.  Come out of Late War and play a little while in Early or Mid...maybe stop in the AvA if anyone's in there.

Come to think of it, if you hide behind a shade here on the BBS I don't want you in my arena.  Buh-bye.

I do visit EW some times and have fun, but there usually isn't a fight in there.

I was thinking out loud. Sorry for the shade but it would be best if you didn't know who I am, so I can use it later. It adds mystery doesn't it? And trust me, im not the only one that uses one.

Thats the problem. I cannot find a plane I like.

They can all be killers if you learn them and show a little sense in your engaging. And no matter how "uber" what you fly is, there will always be days when your AHII session ends with hitting alt-F4 in disgust. That is the price of playing this game. So one might as well fly what one likes!

I've never hit alt f4 in disgust. I've only hit it for the nook.

On another note, I got bored at beginning of 2008 and left for a few months, I played COH. I never stopped thinking of aces high, just needed a break, when I could fight it no more, I came back, took 9 months off.
