LSU 31 Washington 23.

I feel this is all i need to prove my point.  That was a very closely contested game.  The thing is thought washinton finished 7th!!!!!!! in the PAC10.  Where as LSU is proably the 3rd best team in the SEC minus a bonehead coaching move.  The SEC is like many conferences, too top heavy.  THe PAC10 is more of a challenge week in and week out.

I've never seen a game that a SEC team won used more often in forums to try to argue against the SEC.

LSU led 24-13 w/ 6 minutes to play when Washington kicked a field goal to make it 24-16.  LSU then drove and scored to make it 31-16 w/ about 2 minutes left to play.  Jake Locker scored on the games final play to end it 31-23.

Anyways, how did USC do against Washington?

Ok here is my Case for the PAC-10.

The SEC is at the moment a bunch of cupcakes+Alabama, Florida, and LSU.  That is suomething a strong recruiting class will change.

You have lost your mind! Name one other conference that beats itself to pieces each Saturday like the SEC. There is a reason that the majority of the teams are 7 or 8 win teams each year...they play in a conference that has produced...7 National Champions since 1992 and 4 of those have come in the last 6 years with a chance to play for the 5th in that same time frame. Besides the USC + 9 FCS Division teams that is the Pac-10 hasn't been representing itself too well in the last few years. Even back in the old days when USC wasn't the power house they have been recently the other teams haven't stepped or didn't step up to stomp on them any worse than they have this year.

when the PAC-10 can put all but one of their teams in a bowl game come back and talk about toughest conference in the land.

SEC has ten in bowl games as of today.  I am a Tide fan, so I am biased a bit....but the SEC is one tough freaking conference this year....and I guess the Bowls see this also.

Ok.  You all have convinced me that the PAC 10 is the best confernce.

The Pac10 is the best conference this year and will be next year.  I will tell this to all who will listen while I'm cheering on an SEC team to win the 5th Championship in the last 7 years.

Regardless, bringing up how stupid the players are in another conference is always a last resort when your conference is not winning.   When your Buckeyes are 0-9 all time in Bowls vs. the SEC I can understand you are reaching...when your graduation rate is bottom 10 it sounds kind of foolish.
