I think I found the perfect torture, how about we first whip them, then pull out all their finger and toe nails, then we cut them open and expose the nerves in their arms and legs, and then dip them in a vat of near boiling salt water  ?

Depends, if you pull them out, you can still stick things in their fingers, but if you stick drywall nails under their nails and then pull their nails off, the drywall nails would fall out wouldn't they? Plus, have you ever lost a nail? It hurts like hell.
