Seems like, the best MidATX cases going right now are, NZXT Tempest, and Antec 900..
Both about $100 bucks, seem very equal features, close competitors.. Either one of
those cases will last for awhile, build after build, and will accomodate the best stuff easily...

Thats how it seems to me anyway..

How much cache does your HD choice have? I would only buy a Hard Drive with a 32MB cache. As for the soundcard, I would go for an Audigy 2 ZS:
