This is my first build involving case modification.  Really, the hardest part it cleaning up all the metal shavings.  The step bits tend to throw them all over the room, even at lower speeds.

my score is only 7200 and plays ah great.  will be higher once I get the e8400.  but theory goes that if it plays ah good.  wait to upgrade later.

my roomate runs a E6850 with a 4850 and gets over 12000 without any tweaking
