OK... maybe this is a Windows 7 thing.. just something I've never seen before.
I have a 9800GTX+ Video card with half a gig of DDR3 RAM built in. I get some really crazy video ram usage stats from within Aces High, and although I've learned not to trust those numbers... my DxDiag report shows something strange. The "Dedicated" video RAM seems accurate enough at 499MB, however it also shows "SHARED" video RAM of 1375MB (Which would be why AH reports almost 2 GIGS of video memory!)
Keep in mind I also have 4 GIGS of DDR3 system RAM, and a C2D E7400 running stock speed of 2.8GHZ.
Is this just a 7/Vista thing or is this a setting somewhere? I'm extremely fluent in XPanese, but pretty much skipped Vista altogether, skipping straight from XP to 7RC... actually running a dual boot with both no separate hard drives, but almost never boot into XP anymore.
Thanks!
