As I can tell, it jumps from mid-angle in the east directly to mid-angle in the west, without stopping at good ol noon
It was High Noon in the Late Blue just now. Just saying

 :aok

I have four little arrows on my keyboard that allows me to move my head position, if I so desire, so that the canopy framing blocks the sun.

Try it.

YMMV

I'd like to see more accurate optical properties for sun glare before the addition of a hand to block the sun.

I believe his point is that the sun doesn't shine flawlessly through a pane of glass and, this is the big one, aircraft did not have house-window perfect glass in their cockpits. Even adding in the diffusion effect of scratches would help. I believe the optical effect of a curved piece of glass for the bubble cockpits would go even farther.

He said "more accurate," not "stronger." :)

I like to see it more like a shaded function like putting sun glasses on, which the pilot had in the war.

Hah!
Thanks KKEN.
You beat me.

I agree with much of what has been posted... except for the fat guy with no arms. I don't think it be be a toggle that stays on or off (arm/thumb up or down) and has to track the sun, rather a hotkey that could bring it up for an instant while you hold it down. Controls for that hand would be inoperable (left hand no throttle controll, right hand no guns or something like that) while the hand was in use. I thought about the visor, but not sure too many WWII era pilots had them.

Glad you like it semp.
