I found the sequence for the gear retraction for the p38 in the form of a couple pics in Squadron/signal publications "P-38 Lightning in Action" on p 23 and p28

seems the nose wheel retracts first then the mains then the doors on both close.

I believe extension is mains first.

also (minor stuff)

the nose gear door is brighter than the fuselage when retracted (mains doors normal)

that armor plate below the main window you fixed to be black w/o silver outline is fixed in close up full detail but when zoomed further out (when the pilot figure shows up) it is still silver outlined.

oh one more thing then I will stop being finical

Could you give the intakes and vents on the sides of the booms that gradiated darkness you did to the front radiator intakes to make them darker? Not the supercharger and intakes on the top though, that area rocks and needs no change

If you have the time to do this stuff excellent but if not no problem Nate

No way. Not till they get those PUMPKINS off the B17.

Good stuff Citabria but way minor for now.

The P38 looks great and the B17 engine cowlings from hell do not and they said after the P38 was released they would fix it.

I was not going to squeak about it till after the next release but, oh well, just in case....

We know Bombers are 2nd class citizens in Aces High.

Can you imagine the uproar if a fighter plane was let loose with as glaring a deficiency?

The B17 has been this way since beta and I think this may be because no one but me is bugged about it.

Bomber’s are not even considered citizens in AH, yet they are the only thing that keeps this game from being a 100% Quakefest.

B-26 and C47 have a ton of class and good looks if you want to look on the bright side though

SUNCHASER!! I said as soon as i finished the p38, I would fix the "pumpkins"........ well I finished the p38, and since then have fixed the "pumpkins" on the B-17, I have also fixed the gunner positions, and the flap that could be seen thru the wing on your beloved bomber. All of this will be in the next release, which happens to be the first release since the p38.

Natedog we fighter pilots are going to whine if you reduced the kill zone of the 17 so beware!

And while your at it the F4u is to easy to spot in the air can you make it more invislble, and the p38 is too big it gets hit everytime I fly it, and and oh you get the picture.

I was joking you know you see

it means not serious. The engine on the B17 were mentioned way back in beta they knew about it it wasnt that important would like to see ohter planes come then worry about little things. not try to upset anyone I defend what I think is right.

Sunchaser, Pyro already posted in the news section that the tail wheel showing bug has been fixed for all planes. There is no need to hound us about bugs that you know we've already said we'd fix and/or are aware of. That means that we've written it down, and it will be fixed at the appropriate time.

Imagine someone sitting behind you while you're working. They stand there and poke you in the back constantly saying, "Does this bother you? Does this bother you? Does this bother you? Does this bother you?..." You get my point?

Thanks Citabria, BTW I fixed the main window. I'll get to the other stuff as soon as possible.
Don't get the wrong idea, we like suggestions from the players, that's what we're here for. we take all of all the suggestions or bugs, put them in a list ( so we don't forget about them ) combine that list with the list of current projects, and prioritize the entire list. we're sorry if we don't always get to the fix you wanted, but we will eventually get to it.
Sunchaser, I didn't mean to seem riled up, and I did notice your "just in case" comment, but I also saw all of your comments on channel 1, and since I had already finished the fixes, I guess it just got the best of me, and I came off all riled up. Sorry about that.
the bombs and the belly turret are not fixed yet, i haven't figured out what's causing that......... but it is on the list.
