I'm not sure if this has been shown yet. But found this video of 3 of the only 5 F7F TigerCat at one place at the same time. Enjoy

Just saw one today at Paine Field in Everett, Wa. It flies. Called Hell Kitty. Beautiful bird.

actually Big Bossman is the best of the lot but has been sold with the remaining of Mike Browns planes to the owner of Rare Bear.

What do you base your opinion on, a shiny coat of paint?

No other F7 owners comments. He also had the deepest pockets of any of them and his was also the fastest of the bunch that showed up at the Reno Air Races. I,ve been attending for 15 years and if you saw Big Bossman up close you would see that everything is perfect on the plane not just the paint job. The owner of Rare bear also owns Glacier Girl and a F4U named Marine's Dream that was rebuilt by the guys at Chino, Fighter Re-builders. Steve Hinton said he's never seen a F4U restored to the quality that Marine's Dream was. Now there are other Marine's Dreams around that are not the plane I am talking about. So you can understand the quality that this guy demands when purchasing a plane you would realize he also thinks it's the best F7F out there.

I know the aircraft well.  I also know who bought it and Glacier Girl.

Just an fyi, it is an old firebomber that was stripped to make it fast.  That does not make it one of the best.  As for being complete, it is far from it, and being that there are several others that are around that are far more complete and representative of an F7F.  Is Big Bossman nice?  Yes, of course it is.  Is it the best, if you want a racer, than that is what you are looking for, if you want authentic representations of the aircraft, than there are other far more accurate aircraft out there.

Which ones cause theres only about 4 flying. It is the best maintained of the ones that I have seen. Authentic, well not may WW2 planes are. Most are lacking in some form or another. I personally dont know what is missing that is different from the other single seat versions but Rod Lewis who now owns Big Bossman also owns another F7F that I believe came from a museum in Michigan. I'll ask him next year at the Reno Air Races what he thinks is the best of the bunch.

Hey Bohdi, what's up with the sales of Brown's aircraft?
