I don't think the Tiger carried smoke shells...I don't ever remember seeing them with smoke canisters either.
A Rook who first flew 09/26/03 at the age of 13, has been a GL in 10+ Scenarios, and was two-time Points and First Annual 68KO Cup winner of the AH Extreme Air Racing League.

every time I see a tiger, they always had the smoke canisters on them, unless its the early versions, but yes I have wondered the same thing, now that you think about it why don't we have them in AH? It would bee cool. FYI im talking about the smoke canisters on the side of the turret.

EDIT: here is some info on it from wiki: "In May the addition of mudguards bolted onto the side of the preproduction run, while removable mudguards saw full incorporation in September. Smoke discharge canisters, three on each side of the turret, were added in August 1942. In the following years similar changes and updates were added, amongst which the addition of Zimmerit in late 1943.''

Well the Firefly already has a similar setup. Though im not 100% if it fires through the gun or launcher itself in AH. Tobad we couldnt find a use for HE loads and such to use. And im sure the KwK could fire smoke, i know it fired canister so it should be able to handle smoke.

i don t knew realy if the tiger do carry smoke shells, doesnt read about them but why not.  he carried his 6 smoke boxes(kanister) zilinders left and right outside his tured it works like modern tank smoke thrower. later after removing these smoke throwers the tiger did still have the option to throw out some nebelkerzen by hand. it was done alot.

TY. Thats my 2nd favorite tactic. Hit the Tiger in the turret and then walk the rounds back to the thin rear hull top. My 1st fave is climbing to 3k above it and coming down in full vertical, hitting the top point blank with WWs all around it.

For the record I'd like to see all the tanks capable of smoke, the ones that were in real life. Most of all Tigers which could, couldnt they?, generate their own smoke for cover. Maybe a good load of smoke and then they have to rebuild more for another. It would help them against aircraft, along with against other tanks, and make the game more challenging.

I see the tactical air war, and GV war, as having a lot of potential in the future. :salute
