Enough with the politics on country channel.  I can't de-tune it.  I need to look at the text buffer to see the occasional important communication there.  Remember, most of us play this game to escape reality, not be confronted with it. :D  I don't want to .report anyone but it seems like every night I play... :uhoh

P.S. Yes, I max out my squelch list almost every night.

I've cut my playing time by 85% in the past few months.  I logged after a grand total of 22 minutes the other day, till it started on country channel.  I asked them to stop, and got heli bombed by join requests. I had budgeted about 3 hours to play.  I logged and made 175$ playing poker online instead.  There, I can cut out EVERY chat I don't want.

I've detuned every radio except country (can't) and squad (won't <S>).  Yet still, in green, I must sort through politics every sortie.

People in this country are sofa king we todd did.  It's four years.  Get over it.  Better yet, go see a psychiatrist......... because AH2 isn't.

I usually don't even look at it, and just focus on flying.

Get in the tower,  .accept <player name>, then go play online poker.

I still don't see the problem with a gunner... in my fighter.

Did I ask you to join?

And, no politics please.

they arent talking about 200....... they are talking about 2 country channel....... the one you cannot detune and theres not enough room on the squelch list..........

the political chat starts everyday at some point on both channels........ but it usually only last a few mins ...... I simply try to ignore it and move on about my business

as I said in the last thread regarding this....... by the same token on country channel we shouldnt have to hear:

how your day went
hows your new job
hows retirement
hows the wife
hows the kids
hows school
what do you think about brett favre
what do you think about "any sports related crap"
what are you having for dinner
etc etc etc

the channel should be 100% completely impersonal and strictly used for communications that relate to whats going on in the arena

well that's never gonna happen, but i agree anything besides the 4-6 line greeting should be taken elsewhere.

and

Politics on any channel in AH is considered to be against the rules per HTC policy and a . report should do nicely.

I hit a record three on my squelch list a few weeks ago, only because three guys got in a shouting match over VOX. Although, I'm the kind of person who tunes to 200 specifically to watch the whiners and trolls...hmm. :noid
