Instead of buying my CJ-7, I almost bought an 89 Waggy. F/R Dana 44's and the overhead computer still worked (rare as most don't). But the 360 had two fluffied up cylinders and the Transmission linkage was fluffied. Rockers were rusted in the right spots, the 6" BJ's off road lift would have fit 35" BFG muds without a hitch. I sometimes regret not getting it.
I just gave away a 360 a few months ago.
Block was cooked, bored .010 to freshen it up, ported and polished the heads myself when I was working at the Tool & Die shop.
Ready for reassembly. I was going to shoe-horn it into my 64 Valiant, but I don't have a garage anymore and with this plate in my arm, wrenching for long hours like that is not in the cards anymore. I put the car/engine/heads........the whole 9 yards on Craig's List for FREE.
It was gone that night.
