I brought this up in another thread,

quoted from a book i own:

So Lindberg as a civilian flew combat missions in several fighter types in the PTO for several months of 1944...very cool.

yup, he flew with several groups to teach them how to get better range out of their A/C

I know this a bit off-topic and I could probably look it up, but for discussion's sake, was this Linbergh's only kill?

can't remember off the top of my head, but I belive he got a kill while flying with a Corsair group aswell.
